Mini-Mals – Super beginner-friendly, Super fun. Great for catching the smaller ones and the spots with long paddles out.
Fast Boards – Not too chunky, quad or thruster, and fast. Reef breaks are generally hollow and speedy.

Go for UV protection – The sun here is no joke. Get a rashie that blocks rays but keep it light wear, no need for extra warmth.
